It's no secret that networking is one of the best ways to find a job, especially in a close-knit city like Halifax. Thanks to the International Student Connector Program, international MBA graduate Sarah Ding was able to connect with professionals in her field and get a great job at TD Bank.
Sarah was referred to Noura Al Jameel, Manager of Customer Services with TD Canada Trust. Through Noura, Sarah met Cathy Doig, External Recruitment Officer, TD Canada Trust (Atlantic region). One week later, Sarah was offered a job as Customer Service Representative with TD Bank.
“Thanks to the International Student Connector Program, I got a job that I love,” said Sarah, “The next step for me is to apply for the Nova Scotia Nominee Program with my boyfriend to become permanent residents of Canada. We really love Halifax and we want to build our future here.”
