Jacques Whitford Acquires AXYS
Jacques Whitford Ltd., a multi-disciplinary firm of consulting engineers, environmental scientists and risk consultants founded in Atlantic Canada, has acquired AXYS Environmental Consulting Ltd., a major competitor in Western Canada.
The combined resources of Jacques Whitford and AXYS will create a workforce of 1400 in 45 offices across Canada, the United States and around the world. The amalgamation will be a giant step to enhance the biophysical, environmental assessment and permitting capabilities and practices.
Through providing consulting solutions across a broad range of disciplines and managing challenges in both natural and built environments, Jacques Whitford has enjoyed more than 30 years of success.
