Corporate Liaison & Corporate Secretary
A native of Halifax, Tanya Walters joined the Greater Halifax Partnership in March 2005 as Corporate Liaison. Her role as Corporate Liaison is two-fold: Executive Assistant to the President & CEO and Corporate Secretary to a Board of Directors of 19 members.
Tanya has over 13 years experience with the Provincial Government, specifically in the transportation industry, including Access Nova Scotia. Prior to joining the Partnership, she spent five years with the Nova Scotia Gaming Corporation as the Executive Assistant to the President & CEO and Corporate Secretary.
Tanya is working towards completing a Certificate in Human Resources as part of a Bachelor of Commerce degree. She currently resides in Halifax with her husband and young sons, Gabriel and Daniel.
