Karen Fraser has seventeen years experience as a Chartered Accountant, five in public practice and twelve within the non-profit sector, including Director, Finance and Administration for the YWCA of Halifax and Financial Consultant for the Atlantic Institute for Market Studies, Nova Scotia Community College Foundation and various other private-sector companies within the Halifax Regional Municipality.
Throughout her career Karen continues to be actively involved in her community as treasurer of local community resident’s associations and committees, member of the School Advisory Committee and as a leader in Girl Guides of Canada.
