Project Coordinator, International Student Connector Program
In September 2010, Jackie joined the Partnership as Coordinator, International MBA Student Connector Program. He is responsible for engaging business leaders to become more proactive in integrating international MBA students into the workplace. The program directly assists international MBA students by expanding their business network and attachment to the community and increasing their chances of finding employment and internships.
Jackie is originally from China and is now a permanent resident of Canada. He came to Halifax as an international student and graduated from Saint Mary’s University with a Bachelor of Commerce, major in marketing. His previous work experience includes working with international students in China and as recruitment officer for Xi’an International University.
In addition to his work at the Partnership, Jackie is an active volunteer for Halifax United Way.
