As Regional President, Kim has responsibility for the sales and market management of Atlantic Canada. This includes setting the direction, developing strategy and managing overall performance and delivery of RBC’s products and services to more than 900,000 personal and business clients in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland & Labrador.
Since joining RBC in 1986, Kim has held a wide variety of increasingly responsible positions. Recent roles include Regional Vice President, Halton Market, where she was responsible for the management of all consumer, financial planning and small business operations; Head of Liquidity Management and Information Products - Global Payments and Client Accounts; and Sales & Market Manager, Royal Bank Plaza Area. Prior to this she spent four years in Commercial Banking. Her most recent role was Vice President of Group Risk Management.
Kim completed her MBA in 2004 at Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto. Prior to her graduate studies, she received her Honours BA from the University of Western Ontario in London.
Kim dedicates much of her personal time to Healthcare. She is a former director and president of Milton Hospital Foundation; former director of Halton Healthcare; was director of Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation and chaired the McMaster Children’s Hospital Council. She also served with various business organizations including the Oakville Economic Development Alliance.
Born and raised in Milton, Kim currently resides in Halifax, Nova Scotia with her husband Roger and their three children aged 14, 12 and 10.
