In her role as Communications Coordinator for the Priority Youth Project, Krista is responsible for research and communications activities related to the development of an employment framework that will make the business connection between local employers and priority youth.

Krista has a background in journalism and strategic communications. Her experience includes work with the Saint John Times Globe in her hometown of Saint John, NB, and the Coady International Institute at St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, NS. Krista holds a Combined Honours Degree in Journalism and International Development Studies from the University of Kings College in Halifax. She is currently completing a Public Relations Certificate from the University of Victoria in Victoria, BC.

Krista is an avid traveler. She has lived and worked in India and South Korea, and has visited several countries in Africa, Europe and Central America.
