Manager, Investor Relations
Charlene
brings a wealth of diverse expertise to the Partnership. During her 13
years within the provincial government, she held the positions of Human
Resources Consultant, Special Assistant to the Premier, and Planning
& Operations Coordinator for the Swissair Flight 111 Secretariat.
Her experience within the private sector includes CEO-Canada,
International Aviation Safety Association and Real Estate Sales at
Bishop’s Landing Condominium Development. Prior to joining the
Partnership, Charlene held the position of Regional Outreach
Facilitator with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Charlene
started with the Partnership in May 2008 as Corporate Liaison &
Corporate Secretary to the Board of Directors and has recently assumed
the role of Manager, Investor Services. Her exceptional liaison and
client service skills make her a natural for this position.
Charlene
has served on the Board of Directors for the Parker Street Food and
Furniture Bank and as an active volunteer with the Marguerite Centre
where she has managed the Red Tent annual fundraiser since its
inception. In the past year, she has assisted immigrants coming to
Nova Scotia by welcoming them into her home during their transition,
acclimatizing them to Nova Scotia culture, and assisting with English
language skills.
