Bill founded Branded Products, an ingredients company, after moving his family to Nova Scotia from Ontario in 1986. His background was in consumer-packaged goods marketing at the national level. Since relocating to Nova Scotia, he has developed several new companies within the food sector and has been described by some as a “serial entrepreneur”.
His area of expertise is in marketing and manufacturing. He also has experience working in Non-profit Board environments, most recently, as Executive Director of the Halifax Regional Development Agency.

After receiving his education from the University of N.B. and University of Western Ontario, Bill lived and worked in many parts of Canada.

In 1986 Bill and his family moved to Cole Harbour from Ontario and still reside there today. He believes that Halifax is poised to become the economic and cultural engine that will drive the entire Atlantic region to new levels of prosperity.

He knows that Halifax is a great place to raise a family and educate them - now its time to ensure we can offer our children the opportunities for careers that will keep them challenged, engaged and… here.
