Succession & Corporate Planning
(1) Have you planned how your company would react if key performers
left?
(2) Do you promote from within your company?
(3) Do you update corporate and strategic plans, including human
resources plans (i.e. staffing, recruitment, retention and hiring plans)?
(4) Do you have adequate resources to take care of all human
resources issues, such as recruitment, hiring, employee attraction and
retention?
Training
(5) Do you offer training options?
(6) Do you evaluate the effectiveness of the training courses you
offer?
(7) Do you cross-train employees in other jobs? (Cross-training is
preparing employees to perform other jobs, if necessary.)
